Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Possession of a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school environment
- Strong understanding of evidence-based assessment and intervention methods for children
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Adaptability to work within diverse school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small group settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student learning
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and required reports in compliance with school district and state regulations
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Serve as a resource for parents, caregivers, and educational professionals regarding strategies and supports
