Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Virginia SLP licensure is required.
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings welcomed.
- Ability to initiate a VA Department of Social Services background check promptly.
- Ready to complete a TB Test for VA credentialing.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Adaptable mindset, comfortable serving multiple schools and age groups.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document progress and maintain thorough, compliant records.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert input and recommendations.
- Travel as needed between school locations; all placements are fully on-site.
