School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Stafford, Virginia

Qualifications:
• Active Virginia SLP license
• School-based experience strongly preferred, but all SLP backgrounds considered
• Ability to work full-time, on-site; virtual or hybrid work is not available
• Must quickly complete VA Department of Social Services background check
• TB test required upon hire
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
• Adaptability to work with a variety of age groups
• Willingness to serve where needed within the district
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across varying ages and abilities
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
• Support school-level staff with resources and best practices in speech and language development
• Adjust caseload support as needed based on assignments within the district
