School-Based SLP | Dumfries, Virginia

Full-time positions are available for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference across elementary, middle, and high schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. With a contract spanning 185 days and a 37.5 hour work week, you'll work on-site, connecting directly with students and staff in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Candidates should bring an active Virginia SLP license and be ready to initiate the VA Department of Social Services background check and TB test right away. Preference will be given to those who have relevant school-based SLP experience, but applications from all experience levels are encouraged as there are multiple assignments suitable for various backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure (required)
- Willingness to start immediate VA Department of Social Services background check and TB test
- Experience in a school setting is ideal, but all levels welcome
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, spanning ages from elementary through high school
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services in a school-based setting
- Support students' communication development through direct therapy and collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
- Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs and strengths of each student
