Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Virginia (VA) Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Ability to manage various age groups, from young children to adolescents
- Willingness and ability to work exclusively onsite (no telepractice or hybrid opportunities)
- Capacity for quick credentialing: must initiate VA Department of Social Services check immediately
- TB test required per state regulations
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as assigned
- Assess, diagnose, and develop IEPs for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs across assigned schools
