Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatrics, especially within school-based settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and IEP requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students
- Educate staff and families about speech and language development
