Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or in process of obtaining
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting techniques for various needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and required documentation
- Work proactively with educators and parents to support students’ communication growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall student support strategy
