Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in pediatric settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each child’s needs
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver whole-group, small-group, and one-on-one therapy services based on students’ unique requirements
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and advances in pediatric speech-language pathology
