- Experience or strong interest in pediatric therapy, particularly within educational environments
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students ages preschool through high school
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers and special educators to support individualized learning goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student intervention plans
- Maintain thorough record-keeping and progress reports as required by school standards
- Educate families regarding student progress and strategies for continued success at home
