Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Previous pediatric and school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning skills
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable with IEP documentation and working in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough, timely documentation
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Offer guidance and training to educational staff as needed on communication strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions for optimal outcomes
