School Speech Language Pathologist - Torrance, California
Step into a vital role supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming full school year. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work at various sites and adapt to changing environments
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload and travel locally as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct intervention services in-person to students from elementary to high school grades
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of services, goals, and progress
- Support home health therapy sessions as assigned
