School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (Middle and high school)
Soliant has partnered with a school district in Chula Vista, CA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26-27 school year.
Requirements:
- Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Speech-Language Pathology credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- Prior schools experience strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly W2 pay of $55 to $65/hr, dependent on experience
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
- Employer-matched 401(k)
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:
- Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
- Update progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
- Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
- Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
- Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
