Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Background working in school-based settings, with a strong understanding of IEPs and compliance requirements
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to culturally responsive practices and inclusive learning
- Organizational skills for managing time, caseloads, and multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across age groups
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing progress data and recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date progress notes and documentation in accordance with district standards
- Educate school staff and families on communication strategies to reinforce goals inside and outside the classroom
