Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP state licensure for Ohio or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Recent experience working with school-aged children is highly sought after
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Capability and enthusiasm for working onsite with students, educators, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, supporting IEP goals and academic achievement
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a collaborative team member
- Engage in progress monitoring and data-driven decision making for student growth
- Offer support and resources for teachers and families as needed
