Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or therapeutic settings is a plus
- Solid knowledge of evaluation and treatment for a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent collaboration, documentation, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students needing speech and language support
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each student’s educational goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and training to support staff and caregivers as needed
