Key Qualifications:
- Current or pending Illinois SLP license (SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CFY)
- Experience or strong interest working within K-8 educational environments
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and parents
- Comfortable working on-site (no teletherapy/voco options)
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to K-8 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEP meetings, and contribute to student planning
- Provide training for support staff and guidance for families
