Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Experience with K-8th grade caseloads preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong commitment to individualized, student-centered intervention
- Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and community members
- Must be comfortable providing exclusively onsite services—remote work not available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments with students in K-8
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct, evidence-based therapy in group and one-on-one settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Engage positively with school leadership and staff to coordinate services
