Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Experience with K-8th grade caseloads preferred
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong commitment to individualized, student-centered intervention
  • Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and community members
  • Must be comfortable providing exclusively onsite services—remote work not available

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments with students in K-8
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based therapy in group and one-on-one settings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Engage positively with school leadership and staff to coordinate services
