Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid SLP license for California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an educational setting
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person therapy services to students on a consistent, part-time schedule
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ IEP goals and educational progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based teams as needed
