Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC credential (or Clinical Fellowship applicants welcomed)
- Commitment to complete more than a one school-year assignment
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
- Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred, though monolingual candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in school-based settings, SEIS systems, or with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) is valued
- Familiarity with a range of student needs, including mild-moderate and some severe cases, as well as AAC devices
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services for PreK students, with the possibility of itinerant assignments within the district
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with support staff and families
- Serve a diverse caseload, delivering onsite support that nurtures communication and educational outcomes
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
