School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Palm Desert, California

We’re seeking enthusiastic SLPs for full-time, full school year contracts in the vibrant Coachella Valley area, with a strong emphasis on onsite presence. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status; new grads welcome
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
- Bilingual Spanish speakers highly desired, but applications from monolingual candidates are encouraged
- Prior experience with schools or SEIS documentation preferred
- Familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) programs is an asset
- Experience with PreK student populations and AAC devices a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and consultations for students—primarily mild to moderate, with some severe needs
- Support PreK programs as a top caseload priority
- Travel locally within the district as needed (potential itinerant role)
- Complete and maintain all necessary documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and special education staff to develop student-centered goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ progress monitoring
