Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience in school settings strongly desired
- Ability to conduct assessments, provide direct therapy, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Compassion and commitment to making a measurable impact for students with speech/language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
- Engage with teachers, parents, and other specialists for effective intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough records, prepare progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in group and individual settings
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education
