Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Previous experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP process and ability to implement individualized education plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Stay current with best practices and state/federal regulations relevant to school-based speech-language pathology
