Make a difference supporting students near Coachella, California as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract opportunity offers a rich and rewarding full-time schedule throughout the full school year, focusing on PreK students and working primarily onsite. Candidates should be open to an itinerant role, visiting multiple sites and working with a caseload that ranges from mild to some severe needs, including students using AAC devices.

Your experience working with SEIS systems and familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) processes are valuable, though not mandatory. Bilingual Spanish skills are highly regarded, but motivated monolingual SLPs are also welcomed. Recent graduates seeking their Clinical Fellowship are encouraged to apply—mentorship and support will be available.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload, primarily PreK students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and maintain documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams; provide consultative support as needed
  • Travel between school sites as an itinerant SLP if required
  • Utilize AAC devices and adapt therapy materials for students with mild-moderate to some severe communication needs
  • Ensure all documentation and records are updated in SEIS and comply with district policies

What you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Active Certificate of Clearance (COC)
  • Willingness to commit to a full academic year or longer
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly desired; open to monolingual applicants
  • Experience in schools and/or with SEIS and CA Medicaid (Paradigm) is a plus
  • Positive, adaptable, and student-centered mindset
