School Speech Language Pathologist - Canoga Park, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid licensure as an SLP in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience delivering speech and language therapy in a school setting strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation following school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations and input
- Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive therapeutic environment for all students
