Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver onsite speech-language pathology services, primarily serving PreK students with mild to moderate needs (some severe, with occasional AAC device use).
- Potential for itinerant work, supporting multiple school sites within the district.
- Complete thorough assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain documentation and compliance via SEIS; familiarity with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) a plus.
- Provide culturally responsive care; bilingual Spanish skills highly valued.
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and school staff to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications/Desired Background:
- Active SLP licensure, CCC or CF candidates welcomed.
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required (must be obtained prior to start).
- Previous school-based SLP experience and SEIS proficiency preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred, but monolingual candidates considered.
- Interest in committing to a minimum one full school year.
