Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Proficiency with AAC devices; strong background supporting various levels of student need
- Understanding of IEP processes and ability to maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with a range of communication needs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple campuses
- Integrate AAC technology and strategies to maximize student participation and progress
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation to ensure compliance
