Speech Language Pathologist in Mc Kittrick, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Skilled in working with students presenting a wide range of needs, from mild to severe
- Demonstrated knowledge of AAC devices and technology integration
- Proven ability to manage multiple school sites efficiently as an itinerant SLP
- Strong grasp of IEP regulations and compliance procedures
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and ensure compliance with special education laws and practices
- Train and support staff in implementing AAC devices and communication strategies
- Travel efficiently between assigned sites, organizing a flexible approach to meet varied student needs
