Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Proficiency in managing screenings and diagnoses for a broad spectrum of needs
- Background in IEP development and compliance
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple campuses as an itinerant professional
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy to students across several school environments
- Document student progress and maintain records in alignment with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other specialists to support each student’s success
- Offer training and guidance on AAC devices for students and staff
