School Speech Language Pathologist - San Mateo, California
Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students ranging from PreK to 8th grade in an engaging school environment near San Mateo, CA. Two contract opportunities are available: one position full-time for the entire academic year, and another filling a maternity leave through January 31, 2027—with the possibility of extension if needed. Each SLP will manage a caseload of up to 55 students, allowing you to deliver focused, personalized services that help children achieve their communication and academic goals.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state licensure for CA)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential required
- Experience with K-8th grade students preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs collaboratively
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in a school-based role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
