Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP - CCC credential
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred for effective communication with the school community
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop age-appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Directly provide speech and language intervention services
- Monitor progress and update IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Communicate regularly with teachers and families, offering guidance and support
- Maintain thorough documentation and report on student development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
