Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist License with ASHA CCC credentials
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for managing a moderate caseload (35 students)
- Ability to develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Bilingual skills are a plus and highly encouraged
- Commitment to working collaboratively with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy services for students identified with communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student academic progress and social participation
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate progress and interventions with families in a clear, supportive manner
- Engage in professional development as needed to stay current with best practices
