Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid SLP-CCC certification required.
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students (K-5).
- Bilingual ability is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy and intervention services to a caseload of approximately 35 students.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers to support students in classroom settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district and regulatory requirements.
- Foster family engagement and contribute to team meetings regarding student progress and strategies.
- Participate in school-wide activities and remain responsive to the needs of a vibrant educational community.
