Speech Pathology Work From Home - MD
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within the educational setting. This role supports students ranging from elementary through middle school, delivering remote speech-language pathology services aligned with individual student needs and educational goals.
Location: Silver Spring, MD (service area includes Rockville and Washington, DC region)
Contract Duration: August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (no part-time availability)
Time Zone Requirement: Must be located in and able to work according to Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telepractice speech-language therapy sessions tailored to students' age and caseload demands.
- Manage caseloads averaging up to 40 students in elementary grades and up to 57 at peak in middle school.
- Maintain compliance with relevant state and district regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine appropriate caseload and assignments based on qualifications and location.
- Complete all required documentation and participate in prescribed assessments related to student progress.
- Adhere to mandated background checks and credentialing requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Maryland state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of three years of post-COVID experience providing virtual/teletherapy school-based services.
- Familiarity with telespeech and teletherapy platforms and methodologies.
- Ability to provide services in accordance with school schedules and academic calendars.
