Speech Language Pathologist Work From Home | Louisiana
A full-time role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist providing teletherapy services in the education sector. This position supports students through remote speech-language therapy sessions, utilizing teletherapy techniques to address communication disorders within school settings.
Location: Harvey, LA (New Orleans area)
Assignment Details:
- Position spans the academic year from August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027
- Workweek consists of 35 hours, distributed as 7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Caseload and specific school assignments to be determined
- Service delivery via teletherapy in speech-language pathology focused on school-aged children
Licensing and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Active state license to practice speech-language pathology mandatory
- ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC-SLP) required
- Completion of required district credentialing form for the Human Resources department
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide teletherapy intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and communicate therapy outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting according to district and professional standards
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines for teletherapy services in a school environment
This opportunity is contingent upon contract renewal by the school board at their June 3, 2026 meeting.
