Required qualifications and experience include:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license in Louisiana and current state of residence; candidates must hold both licenses prior to starting (no pending licensure processes)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Proven ability to conduct telespeech and teletherapy services effectively within educational environments
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for students via teletherapy platforms
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals and accommodations
- Complete required district documentation and comply with credentialing requirements by submitting HR forms promptly
