Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure as required for practice
- Experience working with early elementary students (K-1st grade preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven ability to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans
- Familiarity with school-based IEP processes considered an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to approximately 20 K-1st grade students
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech/language needs
- Develop and document individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in parent meetings and contribute to student progress reports
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state documentation requirements
