Speech and Language Pathologist in Tacoma, WA
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support for a K-12 caseload during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is based in Tacoma, WA, serving an in-person school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess speech, language, and communication skills, and provide targeted interventions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid WA state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- ESA credential.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI is required.
- Experience working within school settings serving pediatric populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Tacoma, WA
Contract Type: Full-time (7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week)
