Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (School Based) – 2026–2027 School Year
Pay Rate: $40-$55/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: August 31, 2026
End Date: June 17, 2027
Position Overview:
We are seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists to support the School District in Poulsbo, WA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person role serving either elementary or secondary students. The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive school-based speech and language services within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned students
• Manage a caseload of approximately 42 elementary or 45 secondary students
• Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Support student communication development across educational settings
Qualifications:
• Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
• Valid Washington ESA certification required
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload in an in-person school setting
