Key Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Washington SLP license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY encouraged)
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Solid understanding of the entire special education process, including compliance and best practices
  • Skill in planning and implementing identification and intervention strategies for diverse needs
  • Proficiency in engaging communication, active listening, and professionalism in all interactions
  • Ability to maintain a positive, fun, and lighthearted atmosphere while providing effective services
  • Background in early learning or working with atypical impairments is a plus

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy sessions
  • Collaborating with educational teams on IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Consulting with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Participating in meetings and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Contributing to an inclusive, supportive learning environment
