Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Othello, Washington

You’ll work under the guidance of the Director of Special Education, helping ensure students with special needs reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP License required
- Open to Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs, including those with CCC credentials
- Background in pediatric, healthcare, and school-based speech therapy, including evaluation, assessment, and consultation
- Demonstrated commitment to making a difference for students with special needs and their families
- Familiarity with the special education process, disability categories, and experience in early learning or atypical impairments a plus
- Excellent communication skills—active listening, two-way communication, using appropriate communication channels
- Ability to foster a positive, fun, and collaborative school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services as part of a multi-disciplinary special education team
- Conduct evaluations and design individualized intervention plans for students across a range of ages and abilities
- Consult with teachers, families, and community partners to support students’ progress
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop creative and engaging activities to inspire skill-building
- Organize, plan, and implement all phases of the special education identification process
