School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Fountain, Colorado

In this role, you’ll serve a diverse K-12 student population, working 40 hours per week to assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs. Your dedication will help students reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Colorado
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for helping students achieve their academic and communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and carry out individualized therapy plans for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valuable member of the educational team
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Provide guidance and training to staff as needed
