School Speech Language Pathologist - Brighton, Colorado
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners near Brighton, CO! A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for the upcoming academic year to work across two school sites, serving a caseload of early childhood and elementary students (PreK-5). This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role spans from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP license; CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility for SLPA with school-based experience
- Demonstrated success in school settings, particularly with early childhood and elementary populations
- Familiarity with Child Find evaluations and ability to effectively assess speech/language needs
- Strong collaborative skills for working alongside teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Organizational skills and adaptability to effectively manage a caseload of 50-55 diverse students
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to PreK-5th grade students in both individual and group sessions
- Conduct Child Find assessments and comprehensive evaluations for students referred through district protocols
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals for students receiving speech-language services
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to deliver student-centered, evidence-based interventions
- Serve students across two elementary sites, maintaining consistent communication and high-quality support at both locations
