School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lakewood, Washington

You’ll help children reach their full communicative potential, whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC or a CFY working toward certification.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CFYs are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings a plus, but not required
- Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload of students
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for serving children
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual or small group sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Document student performance and maintain detailed records in compliance with district and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development
- Adapt services to diverse student populations and learning abilities
