Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based SLP experience or a strong passion for working with children and adolescents
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and AAC devices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy services for K-12 students with speech, language, voice, or fluency challenges
- Work with educators and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support personnel to promote academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation, attend meetings, and contribute to student evaluations
- Create engaging activities tailored to diverse student needs to help them reach their communication goals
