Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse, elementary-aged caseload
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Compassionate, patient, and student-centered in your approach
- Prepared to contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans targeting communication needs
- Write IEP goals, monitor progress, and participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage with parents and caregivers regarding therapeutic approaches and student growth
- Use evidence-based practices to deliver engaging and effective interventions
- Maintain timely and organized records in compliance with school and state guidelines
