Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Eligible for, or possession of, valid state licensure for speech therapy services within schools
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within education settings
- Comfortable with teletherapy service delivery as well as in-person supports
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for elementary students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students in K-4th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address receptive, expressive, social language, and articulation needs
- Provide therapy sessions individually or in small groups within elementary settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support each student’s success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Adapt services for teletherapy if needed throughout the contract period
