Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (must be submitted with resume)
- Pediatric experience or background working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for interactions with students, educators, and families
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of speech and language disorders
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Perform timely and comprehensive evaluations, including writing and presenting IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to ensure student progress
- Provide consultation, support, and training as needed for staff and families
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation in compliance with school district standards
- Participate actively in school meetings and professional development
