Key qualifications:
- Current state SLP license
- Valid SLP Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (active)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, ideally with preschool or Child Find populations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload (from evaluation-intensive to direct-therapy focused)
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschoolers and children referred to Child Find
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing a range of communication needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, instructional staff, and families to support students’ success
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and evaluations
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
- Stay updated on best practices and compliance regarding school-based speech therapy services
