School Speech Language Pathologist - Surprise, AZ
Make a real difference in the lives of young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting preschool-aged children and Child Find services. This is a full-time, onsite contract assignment with multiple positions open, offering the chance to work collaboratively in a dedicated educational environment.
In this role, you’ll manage a dynamic caseload and be part of a team that tailors services to student needs. Caseloads may fluctuate based on assigned evaluation duties—some roles emphasize evaluations with a lower ongoing caseload, while others concentrate on ongoing therapy services with a broader student roster. Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology state license
- Active Arizona SLP Educator Certificate
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience supporting school-aged and preschool populations
- Ability to adapt to varying caseload sizes and evaluation demands
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and related services to preschool and Child Find students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans, and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication with parents, teachers, and administrators
- Adjust workloads and approaches based on caseload distribution and evaluation schedules
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
