Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for schools in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably with K–12 students
- In-depth knowledge of speech and language milestones, evaluation, and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and document progress effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop personalized therapy plans and deliver services for eligible students as outlined in their IEPs
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Stay current with best practices and maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and team planning activities
