Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC certification.
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and therapy methods suited to school-aged children.
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans focused on student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings.
- Provide both individual and group therapy as needed.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support generalization of skills.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting plans as warranted.
